Our Academics

At Immaculate Heart Academy it is our privilege to teach your children the meaning of wisdom through the eyes of Jesus Christ. We value each individual and believe they have been blessed with gifts from God.  It is the duty of our faculty to expose our students to an accelerated learning experience to help uncover and develop these gifts.  Our state certified teachers who also must meet the higher teaching standards of Immaculate Heart Academy use our core curriculum and enrichment classes to form students who are well-rounded and rooted in Christ.

Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)

All K-8 students in the Diocese of Tucson take this standardized assessment three times a year. You are looking at Winter MAP scores from 2026. The percentile rankings indicate that in Math, 93% of our students are scoring at or above grade level. In Reading, 86% are at or above grade level and in Language Usage, 90% of our students are at or above grade level. Our teachers are amazing and our students are working so hard!

 

Please note that the percentile rankings indicate how we are performing compared to all the other children in the nation taking the same test. Scoring at the 50th percentile indicates they are performing on average, at grade level. Anything above that demonstrates performance above grade level.
