College and Career Guidance

The faculty and staff promote an environment where students are encouraged to take an

active role in their future. As a result, students feel empowered to apply to their college of choice, many times long before early admissions deadlines.

Historically, Immaculate Heart students have been offered generous scholarships academically, athletically, and personally. Scholarships typically average approximately $1 million each year depending on the size of the graduation class.

The high school counselors specialize in guiding students through all grade levels by meeting one-on-one with each student twice a year. Additionally, all junior families are required to attend a college planning meeting to receive an admissions packet, which leads them through the application process. The counseling department also assists parents as they navigate the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) submission process.
